Organic Healing Salve For Tortoises and Turtles
This simple salve is the perfect solution to maintaining the proper health of turtle and tortoise shells. Protein and vitamin rich, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial formula hydrates deep into shell, promoting healthy growth and preventing chipping. Maintaining shell health along with proper diet and humidity, helps to prevent pyramiding and ensures healthy nerve endings (yes they feel you petting their shell!) Apply thin layer to shell once weekly to repair damage, and then once a month to maintain shell health.
This product may under go natural changes due to temperature fluctuation. It may become firmer in cold temperatures or liquefy if left in a sunny window. This is a natural process and will not damage or degrade your salve in any way. If product becomes too firm it can be placed in warm water until softened to desired consistency. A salve that has become too soft or liquefied may be moved to a cool space to solidify. Salves have an approximate 3 year shelf life and should be stored in a cool dry place.
